I know….

It is confusing eh? Is it a DUCK?…. or a CHICKEN?

quack or cluck ?

quack or cluck ?

Well, this is a chicken’s egg anyway :-D

Fried in a duck/chicken look-a-like stainless pancake ring bought at ACE Hardware.

The “hay” are made from cheese, the “sun” (?) rice balls made from steamed Gasol’s 5 Grains Rice (mix of red rice, brown rice, sorghum, mungbean, kidney bean) served in a square plate for my li’l girl’s breakfast.

She cleans the plate, not a single rice left. One HAPPY mommy here :-D !

(my first “happyplate”…  it is actually a “leftovers” work *LOL* )

flower? anyone...

(leftovers) flower? anyone...

It’s almost dinnertime for my li’l girl and I only got some bratwurst, frozen veggies in my freezy freezer and some steamed rice in my rice cooker, and I don’t really wanna cook.

So, I cut the bratwurst, mashed it with some frozen veggies and stuffed ‘em in the rice balls. I’m using the triangle shape rice baller from my friend in Japan. (but I think it can be bought at Daiso Store in Kelapa Gading :-D )

Then, simply batter the rice balls with beaten egg (with a pinch of salt as an addition) and roll ‘em on breadcrumbs before they having a hot-tub bath in my frying pan :-) . Makes + 16 rice balls.

the ingredients

I served them in a square plate, the green ‘petal’ made from steamed string bean *n my daughter loves its sweet taste*, the white ‘leaves’ made from mayonnaise.

Well, I think she like it… only one rice ball left on her plate :-D
